St. Andrew’s to offer four services to celebrate Christmas

Our Christmas Eve Family Service and Children’s Pageant begin at 4:00 PM on December 24. All are welcome.  Sing carols, remember the meaning of Christmas and share Christmas Communion. The St. Andrew’s Glory and Praise Band will provide inspiring music. Infant care provided.

At 9:30 PM we begin by singing traditional carols, accompanied by Naomi Shiga on our beautiful Fritts Organ. Then join us for a moving candlelight service with lovely choral music and communion.

Those wishing a quiet hour of prayer and meditation before all of the pageantry are welcome to join us for Contemplative Prayer at 9:00 AM on Christmas Eve, December 24, facilitated by Pam Tinsley.

On December 25, Christmas Day, all are welcome, as we sing traditional carols and celebrate a simple Eucharist, beginning at 10:00 AM.

A time for prayer and reflection

On Saturday, December 4, from 9:30 until noon, St. Andrew’s will offer our annual Quiet Morning, a time of reflection and prayer, offering a chance to get away from the relentless stress and commercialism of Christmas.

Advent is a time of preparation and anticipation, a time when we prepare our hearts for Christ’s coming into world and for the time when Christ will come again.

There will be spoken meditations and time for silent reflection and prayer, as well as prayer aids and helpful reminders of what we can think and pray about. Please join us for all or part of this wonderful  morning of peace and fellowship.
