St. Andrew’s kids feed hungry children through Operation Starfish

In Sunday School our children and youth learned that many children in the world lack basic needs like having enough food or clean drinking water.

The “Operation Starfish” program, sponsored by Food for the Poor, helped them to experience how small sacrificial donations on their part can make a big difference. Each week during Lent, they saved their small change and circulated through the congregation during coffee hour with their Operation Starfish boxes. Perhaps you were even asked to make a contribution, too!

God was at work in their efforts, and they raised $375.56, enough money to feed eight children for an entire year!

Thank you for your prayers and support of the children and youth’s engagement with this program
